Isaac Saban is a professional mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience. Having joined I/O Design & Engineering, a provider of consulting engineering to heavy industry, in 2005 and the ownership group in 2009 he has built I/O Design from 2 to 15 employees. Isaac has led the growth of I/O Design by building strong long-term relationships and identifying and implementing leading edge technologies that improve efficiency, engineering deliverables and quality of work. This has included moving to an end-to-end 3D modelling and detailing software in 2005, 3D LiDAR scanning in 2015 and utilizing virtual reality for engineering design reviews in 2020.
With a desire to make the 3D information readily available to clients, Isaac was part of the team that founded the IndustREAL software company in 2017. The platform provides a 3D interface organized to provide logical grouping and animation of plant equipment, access to live and simulated data, and links to documentation related to entities within the digital twin.
